How is shipping calculated?

Shipping costs are determined by the weight of the items purchased.

Do you ship outside of the United States?

We are only able to ship within the United States at this time, with the exception of APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience.

How long does it take to receive my order?

About 1 week. It takes us 1-2 days to process your order, and an additional 4-7 business days to be delivered. When your product ships, you will receive an email containing a tracking number. Small packages usually ship with USPS, while larger orders use UPS.

After your checkout and payment, it takes us 24-48 hours to process your order and fulfill packaging. From there, we hand your package off to the carrier (i.e. UPS, USPS) and they scan your package into the tracking system. At this point, you will receive an email containing an activated tracking number, which you can track via the official site of the shipper, or via our own package tracker. After your package leaves our facility, it takes roughly 4-7 business days until it's delivered to your shipping address! 

How much does shipping cost for my item?

The larger your item or order, the more shipping can cost. If your order can fit into a small pouch or box suited to a compass or watch, you can expect a shipping charge of around $4.99. If the order is larger, such as our Large Military Style Hiking Backpack, or a shipment of multiple large items, shipping costs could be $14.99 or more.

Do you guarantee your products?

Yes, for 30 days after shipment is delivered. Delivery date is determined from tracking. 

Do you do refunds?
Yes, depending on the circumstance. We offer a 30-day return period for all merchandise, a 90-day exchange period and a 6-month electronic exchange warranty. If you need to make a return or exchange, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to give you a great customer experience!

Who pays for shipping on items for return?
We email return labels with no cost to our customers if the issue is a result of a packaging error. In special circumstances, we will pay for return shipping that are for exchanges. All other issues need to be addressed with our customer service to determine returns. Please email our customer service ([email protected]) if you have any questions regarding this manner and they will assist you in whatever way possible!

Are your backpacks waterproof?

Our backpacks are constructed with water-resistant material, however, they are not completely waterproof. (We would not recommend submerging them in water.)

Why don't I see the same deal on your website that I see advertised on Facebook?
Even after we stop our Facebook advertisements, those posts are still shared and liked by our fans. We can't stop this since it's the way Facebook works.

Do you offer discounts for students or senior citizens? 
Unfortunately no. But we are constantly running promotions and special deals through our Facebook page. Like our page and be up-to-date on all the recent promotions!

How do you determine your compare prices?
We get these prices from our wholesalers or from competitor analysis.

How long has the National Parks Depot been around?
We opened in February of 2014.
